Port Said

Project

Project for Establishing a Development Center in Port Said City Residential – Commercial – Administrative - Recreational

Components of the Project

The General Authority for Building and Housing Cooperatives is establishing the Cooperative Housing Project in the Eastern District of Port Said.

This project is considered one of the most important currently being implemented to address the housing issue in Egypt in general and in Port Said Governorate in particular. It presents a new concept in cooperatives and achieves the principle of social solidarity by providing financial support to cooperative housing units, a percentage of which comes from the sale of investment units in the same project.

The project consists of:

  1. A modern development center (commercial / cultural / recreational) in central Port Said.
  2. Covered commercial passages (arcades) in Port Said with a total length of 1.8 km, to restore the historical character of the city.
  3. Four administrative towers to provide the required administrative spaces for local and international companies participating in the Suez Canal Economic Zone plan.
  4. A multi-storey garage with a capacity of 1450 cars to serve the development center.
  5. 68 cooperative residential towers (areas ranging from 80 to 110 m²).
  6. 22 investment residential towers (with various areas).
  7. A mosque of the required capacity.
